Biometric and program data

When we deploy products such as ExamShield Suite™ (eRegister™, BioSecure™, SafeEntry™, VisionGuard™), production management, banking or similar platforms for a client organisation (for example a government body, examination board or bank), the program may involve categories of personal data including biometric identifiers (such as fingerprint, iris or facial data), candidate registration and identity details, attendance or centre-entry logs, monitoring or incident records, and transaction or field-operation data for banking deployments.

In these deployments, Sasnetics Solutions Pvt. Ltd. typically acts as a data processor or service provider on behalf of the client organisation, which remains the data controller (or equivalent) for that program. If your data is processed in connection with a specific program, you should also refer to that program’s own privacy notice and contact the relevant client organisation, in addition to this policy.

We apply security measures appropriate to biometric and program data, including encryption, access controls and secure storage, as agreed with the client and required by applicable law.

Children and candidate data

Examination, recruitment and similar programs may involve individuals under 18 (including as candidates). This marketing website is not directed at children. The website contact form does not ask for age and does not verify or block submissions by age.

For program deployments, any collection or use of data relating to individuals under 18 is governed by the client organisation’s program rules, applicable law and the agreements under which we provide services. Details of parental or guardian consent, where required, are set by the client program — not by this website policy alone.

We do not sell personal information. Program-specific transfers, if any, are governed by the client organisation’s arrangements and applicable law.

Website and contact-enquiry data: we retain enquiry and related communications for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, manage follow-up, and meet legal or accounting requirements. Exact calendar periods for website enquiries are not fixed in this policy and may vary by context.

Program-specific data (including candidate, biometric, attendance, monitoring or transaction records): retention is set by the client organisation’s program requirements, our contracts with that client, and applicable law. Retention for a given program may differ from website enquiry retention. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against unauthorised access or loss, including measures appropriate to biometric and program data as described above.

Indian data protection law

This Privacy Policy is intended to align with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law. It does not replace any program-specific notice issued by a client organisation, and it is not a certification of compliance for any particular product deployment.
